Anton Hoigt born 1908 in Bochum-Weitmar, Westfalia. Played the cello for various kings and queens. He was
solocellist at the Symphony in Wiesbaden for many years. The Wiesbadener Chamber Trio traveled in Africa and Southeast Asia on
various occasions. The members of the Chamber Trio were awarded the Bundesverdienstkreuz for their cultural merits. He taught at the
University of Mainz. He Died at the age of 79 in Wiesbaden. Traveled to Africa during his life and had two marriages.
Surviving are one Karin Werner of Naurod and one Brigitta Ingalls of Raleigh, North Carolina in the United States.
